Doors for Saturday's UCONN Women's Basketball Game will open early at 10:30am and the game will begin promptly at 12:00pm. The Limerick Pub at Webster Bank Arena will open at 10:00am and will serve food and drinks for ticketed patrons who arrive early.

Ample parking is available onsite at $20 cash only.

UConn basketball is heading to Bridgeport! To celebrate, the Fairfield County Alumni Chapter invites you to gather at the Webster Bank Arena for pre-game receptions before the UConn game Jan 11. Enjoy food and drink, and mingle with fellow alumni and fans before cheering on the Huskies!  Attendees must have a game ticket to attend the reception. Game tickets sold separately. BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Oct. 7, 2013) - Harbor Yard Sports and Entertainment, Webster Bank Arena and UCONN athletics are pleased to announce that the UCONN men’s and women’s basketball teams will each play a regular-season game at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport, Conn. this season.

“This is a historic moment for Huskies basketball and Webster Bank Arena,” Harbor Yard Sports and Entertainment president Howard Saffan said. “We look forward to a long, successful partnership in the years to come. We cannot wait to see the Huskies here in December.”

The first UCONN basketball game will be held Saturday, Dec. 28 at 1 p.m. when the UCONN men’s team hosts the Eastern Washington Eagles. The second game will feature the defending NCAA champion women’s team, as they host the Temple Owls on Saturday, Jan. 11 at 12 p.m. The two games will be the first time since 1987 that UCONN basketball will play home games outside either Storrs or Hartford.

“Fairfield County is home to our Stamford campus and is critical to the University as we continue to grow, achieve our goals, and serve the entire state of Connecticut., UCONN president Susan Herbst said. “We're thrilled to bring UConn basketball to Bridgeport to enhance our presence in the area and contribute to the city.”
